Job Location

San Diego CA Onsite. Minimal domestic travel is required possibly 10% of the time.

Job Description

GALT Aerospace is seeking a talented fulltime salaried Project Control/Scheduling Analyst (PCSA) to support program execution. A qualified PCSA must be a team player and collaborator. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills an eye for detail and experience with both cost and schedule in a Department of Defense (DoD) production environment.

Responsibilities will include:

• Develop and maintain program schedules identifying relationships logic milestones and constraints to meet program objectives for projects.
• Support PMs to maintain accuracy and timely schedule updates from project teams.
• Support PMs with Network Logic Critical Path and Risk/Opportunity analysis.
• Establish and maintain cost baselines and estimates at complete driven by schedule impacts and cost changes.
• Prepare and maintain Budgets and Forecasts and Estimates at Complete (EACs). Update monthly forecasts and perform variance explanations for both cost and schedule.
• Perform estimate to complete analysis based on percent complete.
• Create financial charts in support of program management and program reviews; identify cost impacts and develop recovery plans as required.
• Assist with programs yearly forecasts for AOP.

Day to Day activities will include:

• Update MS Project supporting PMs.
• Analyze Cost Subcontractors Material Labor etc. against baselines and EACs.
• Identify and explain variance drivers with the team and PMs.
• Understand Risk and Opportunities.
• Review EACs and explain variances.
• Assist in reporting Cash Flow analysis.

Required Skills Experience and Education

• Bachelors degree and/or 4 years experience with cost and schedule.
• U.S. Citizenship.

• Collaborative Analytical Creative with a mindset of delivering actionable data to drive the business.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word and PowerPoint).
• Basic understanding of MS Project in a production and development environment.
• DoD experience.
• Eligible for Government Security Clearance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Superior organizational and planning skills.
• Ability to build efficient working relationships with project teams and department staff.

Preferred Skills Experience and Education

• Active DoD Secret clearance.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to sit or stand for 1 hour at a time.

Pay Scale

At GALT Aerospace base pay is one part of the total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as one grows and develops within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $75000.00 $110000.00 and a specific candidates base pay will depend on their skills qualifications experience and location.
