Job Description
We are looking for an Applications Scientist US Intern to join our Applications team.
The goals of this internship will be to demonstrate the benefits of Nanopore sequencing through multiomics approaches including wgs methylation cDNA PoreC and/or direct RNA. Samples will be chosen for proofofconcept studies representing different cell/ tissue types aging cancer or structural variations. The project will include cell culture protocol testing sequencing and data analysis. Data will be generated from multiple methods and approaches and results will be synthesized to provide a unique picture of advances in multiomic technology using Nanopore. The candidate will gain experience in Nanopore sequencing across different methodology as well as exposure to analysis tools and pipelines used for different data types.

Reporting to the Applications Scientist the successful candidate will providesequencing based solutions for several applications across the nanopore platforms.

This role is for a summer internship concurrent with an ongoing undergraduate degree.
Youll hold knowledge skills and abilities in the following areas:
- Labbased molecular or cellular biology or related experience
- Data analysis
- Presentation and communication skills
