Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Hourly and salaried nonexempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.

Job Summary

The position involves the collection and distribution of samples conducting physical and chemical tests calibrating lab instruments and maintaining a clean and efficient lab environment. A focus on safety teamwork and compliance with established guidelines is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze samples ensuring accurate and timely reporting of results to operations personnel.
- Calibrate and maintain standard lab instruments to ensure precise measurements.
- Verify and maintain sufficient inventory of laboratory supplies and materials.
- Ensure that the laboratory is clean organized and adheres to safety and environmental standards.
- Actively participate in safety programs adhere to all safety guidelines and assist in ensuring a safe working environment.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and operate all laboratory equipment and systems as needed.
- Follow all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) SOPs and company standards.
- Effectively communicate test results and findings to operational teams and assist in troubleshooting production processes.
- Work collaboratively with team members while also being able to work independently to perform sampling testing and data analysis.
- Perform any other duties or tasks as directed by the supervisor maintaining flexibility and adaptability.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. An Associates degree in Applied Science or related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in a laboratory setting is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word etc.) is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of chemistry mathematics and lab equipment operation. Strong attention to detail ability to multitask and follow instructions.
- Must be able to work in varying environmental conditions including exposure to chemicals and potential allergens.
