CGI has an immediate need for an Information Security Security Trainer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fastpaced team environment supporting one of the largest leaders in the secondary mortgage industry. We take an innovative approach to supporting our client working sidebyside in an agile environment using emerging technologies.
This position is located at a client site in Reston VA. Hybrid to office 3 days/week (MW)

Your future duties and responsibilities:
This position is responsible for collaborating with the client on information security management program to ensure that information assets are adequately protected.
The client seeks an InfoSec Analyst to plan coordinate and implement security measures for information systems to regulate access to computer data files and prevent unauthorized modification destruction or disclosure of information. The InfoSec Analyst will be assigned responsibilities that may include monitoring applications and systems for privileged activities or security events to include Mainframe platforms. Job Responsibilities: Identify security issues and risks and develop mitigation plans. Architect design implement support and evaluate securityfocused tools and services including project leadership roles. Develop and interpret security policies and procedures. Participate in security compliance efforts. Develop and deliver training materials and perform general security awareness and specific security technology training. Evaluate and recommend new and emerging security products and technologies. Skills: Strong experience and detailed technical knowledge in security engineering system and network security authentication and security protocols cryptography and application security. Consistent implementation of security solutions. Experience in infrastructure or applicationlevel vulnerability testing and auditing. Education/Work Experience: Bachelors degree in a technical field such as computer science computer engineering or related field required 10 years experience required.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
810 years of relevant experience
Demonstrated teaching ability in the areas of cybersecurity with focus in application security Software development DevSecOps and information systems.
Demonstrated ability to engage in curriculum development planning implementation and assessment of student learning.
Teaching responsibilities include time spent in laboratory or online courses and in immediate preparation for them; maintaining and improving competence in subjects being taught; preparing teaching materials; conferring with students on course materials; directing individual and group studies; preparing assignments and challenges for the security coaches.
Excellent work ethics and organizational reasoning and problemsolving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint Word and Excel.
Knowledge of computer languages like Python Java JavaScript and C
Relevant experience with cloud and onpremises platforms.
Education:
Bachelors degree in computer science Information Systems or related field

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level experience relevant training and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for meritbased performance CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $84000.00 $165300.00
