Type: NonExempt
Compensation: $17.00 $18.00/hour Dependent on Experience
Work Schedule: Fulltime Day Shift

Tessera Aerospace Manufacturing is currently seeking an entry level Production Operator to join our team in Auburn WA. In this entry level position training will be provided in assembling parts and a variety of production work in manufacturing parts. No experience necessary although relevant experience in the use of measuring devices using chemical processing and/or the ability to read blueprints among other things may increase your starting wage. Help prepare parts for processing. Operate equipment safely and follow safety guidelines. Quality work habits and good attendance are keys to success in this position. Advancement opportunities are available and encouraged.
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
- Your role is to learn our organizational processes.
- Work with precision and accuracy.
- Perform all tasks in area of responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner.
- The candidate will gain experience working with end users directly as a member of this team.
- Customer Service Skills will be developed supporting manufacturing as part of this rotation.
Qualifications:
- Accountable for quality of produced parts
- Ability to understand and follow instructions is critical
- Must be selfmotivated organized and can adapt in a fastpaced continually evolving environment.
- Strong problem solving social and oral/written communication skills.
- Cando attitude positive and capable of communicating and relating to individuals at all levels.
- Knowledge of basic shop math skills and alpha numeric numbering
- Valid state drivers license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tesseras insurance carrier preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a casebycase basis.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- May be required to reach kneel walk stand and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
- Work may require repetitive motion reaching lifting kneeling and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time climbing in and out of a vehicle and up and down stairs may also be required.
- Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.
Requirements:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access. A background check and EVerify will be conducted for this position.
