The Material Planner is responsible for maintaining adequate inventory levels of raw materials and intermediate products to support production and customer needs.
This position reports to the Value Stream Materials Manager and is part of the Materials team located in Logan Utah and will be an onsite role. At Cytiva our vision is to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
What you will do:
- Maintain inventory levels to support the needs of production and inventory targets through MRP MinMax and Kanban planning
- Escalate risks due to delivery/quality issues invoicing issues and database management
- Partner with key stakeholders to ensure sourced materials meet the needs of the business
- Monitor supplier quality and delivery performance and developing improvement strategies
- Work on projects with cross functional teams to deliver results often requiring decision making
Who you are:
- Bachelors degree with 3 years or High School diploma/GED with 5 years of supply chain experience
- Demonstrated effective time management and organizational skills and ability to balance multiple priorities and execute and deliver on commitments
- Proven analytical skills with the ability to manage supplier relationships
- Previous experience with material management planning or procurement and proficiency in Excel Word and Outlook
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Oraclebased ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) / MRP (Material Requirements Planning)
