Join a leading automotive supplier located in Columbus OH. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Production Supervisor for 2nd or 3rd shift operations. Experience in automotive is preferred.

Position Summary:
The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations on the production floor during their designated shift. You will ensure that production schedules are met quality standards are maintained and employee safety is prioritized. This role is pivotal in managing and leading a team of employees in a fastpaced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates daily production activities including job assignments and rotations.
- Meets with the Team Leader prior to shift startup to understand the current line and production state absentee/tardiness callins and changes to normal employee work areas/equipment.
- Together with the Team Leader holds daily preshift meetings to inform Production Associates of any changes to communicate daily requirements and to promote involvement in issues affecting employees or their work areas.
- Ensures TPM/Daily Care activities safety checks tip changes etc. are completed properly and as scheduled.
- Ensures that operators are trained qualified and capable of performing assigned duties.
- Other duties as assigned in job description or by Dept. Manager.
