What would you do as a Sports Director
As the Sports Director at the Y youll be the mastermind behind all things sportsrelated in our community! While planning exciting youth and adult sports programs youll have a direct impact on the active lifestyle of our youth. Your organizational skills and creative flair will bring these programs to life creating memorable experiences for all participants. Join us in making a difference and shaping the future of sports in our community!
- Responsibilities include interviewing hiring and training employees planning assigning and directing work appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems in the Sports Department.
- Lead all Youth and Adult Sports programming by providing direction leadership support and efficiencies for team members through strategic planning administrative standardization registration quality standards and risk management.
- Organize lead direct and staff Family Fun Zones ensuring quality & fun for members.
Are you a good fit for this Sports Director job
- Passion for youth development and sports programming
- A Bachelors Degree is preferred along with a minimum of 35 years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Minimum of 21 years old ready to inspire and lead our amazing team
- Strong organizational skills creativity and the ability to multitask
- Leadership in the areas of staff & program development fiscal budgeting and management and operational procedures
