Job Description
The objective of the role is to perform the posting of invoices and credit notes on a timely and efficient manner. Responsible for disputes management and vendor account reconciliation.
Accountabilities:
As a Junior Accountant reporting to the Accounting Team Leader you will:
- Assist in monthend quarterend and yearend closing activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Help calculate and post manual journal entries ensuring all entries are supported by appropriate documentation.
- Support monthly Balance Sheet Account reconciliations including cash accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Assist with InterCompany Reconciliations to maintain accuracy across various entities.
- Aid in managing Fixed Assets including tracking acquisitions and depreciation.
- Collaborate with departments such as purchasing and sales to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate financial data.
- Support additional reporting requirements including variance analysis and financial forecasts.
- Undertake adhoc duties as needed to assist the accounting team.
Requirements:
- Experience in an Accounting Department or relevant internship experience.
- Familiarity with accounting software (SAP preferred) and strong Excel skills.
- High level of English proficiency both written and verbal.
- Detailoriented with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Team player with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
