We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a passion for working with young children to join our growing team as a SpeechLanguage Pathologist . The working hours are from 8 AM to 4 PM Monday to Friday.
As a condition of Providence all staff must be vaccinated against COVID19 and provide valid police check with a vulnerable sector screening.

- Have demonstrated ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with students colleagues parents and other stakeholders
- Be flexible curious creative and able to multitask in our everevolving world in pediatrics
- Enjoy working with a multidisciplinary team to deliver childfocused services
Responsibilities include: - Conduct assessments to establish qualifications for services and guide intervention.
- Managing caseloads with a diverse and complex pediatric population and their families.
- Collaborate with other professionals to support positive outcomes for children.
- Gather and interpret data.
- Engage parents in planning decisionmaking and program implementation.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Masters graduate of a SpeechLanguage Pathology degree program from a recognized university.
- Registered with the Alberta College of SpeechLanguage Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA)
- Proficiency with word processing and software packages for language development and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).
- Experience working as a SpeechLanguage Pathologist with children. Successful practicum experience with good references is an asset.
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certificates.
- Demonstrates strong organizational interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be willing to travel within Calgary and to surrounding areas.
Personal suitability note: This position requires lifting and carrying demands that require the ability to bend at the waist stop and twist frequently the ability to lift up to 50 lbs the ability to carry push and pull up to 50 lbs and the ability to stand walk and sit frequently.
