About this role

As a Business Development Representative you will be strategizing with your paired UBLA Account Executive reaching out to Fortune 1000 companies and providing valued insights and stories that showcase Udemy Businesss unique value proposition. With a plethora of innovative sales automation tools at your fingertips you will become a prospecting master continually learning new skills that will prepare you for a long and illustrious career in sales (or any path you decide to take).

What youll be doing:

  • Increasing revenue through outbound activities including calling emailing inmailing and direct mail
  • Support the UBLA Account Executive in managing the sales cycle for opportunities in the pipeline
  • Understanding and conveying the Udemy Business Leadership Academy mission value proposition and solution
  • Becoming a brand ambassador by getting to know and love the Udemy Business Leadership Academy product and story
  • Experimenting with new and creative prospecting strategies
  • Continually improving sales skills to attain quota and grow as a sales professional

What youll have:

  • While this work is based more on the skills a person has than what they have done we think a typical profile could include the following:
  • Strong experience in a customerfacing role and an interest in a future career in sales
  • Experience with 1 year of lead qualification business development or similar skills and a track record of success
  • Selfstarter with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational and timemanagement skills
  • A growth mindset that is recognizable by your peers
At Udemy we strive to be transparent around compensation. Actual compensation for this role is based on several factors including but not limited to jobrelated skills qualifications experience and specific work location due to differences in the cost of labor. In addition to a base salary this role is also eligible for benefits equity and uncapped OTE.

Base Salary Compensation Range

$65000 $81000 USD
