Job Description
Job Title: Independent Living Operations Director
Location: Lantern Crest Senior Living El Cajon CA
Salary: Starting at $70000 annually
Schedule: FullTime

Lantern Crest Senior Living is seeking a dynamic organized and compassionate Independent Living Operations Director to lead the daytoday operations of our Independent Living community. Reporting to the Executive Director or Senior Executive Director this role ensures excellence in resident care team leadership regulatory compliance and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the daytoday operations of the Independent Living community ensuring compliance with federal state and local regulations.
Oversee and support all department managers to ensure exceptional resident care and staff engagement.
Manage budgets monitor expenditures and help drive operational efficiency.
Recruit train supervise and evaluate staff in accordance with company policies and California regulations.
Promote and maintain high resident satisfaction by building strong relationships with residents and families.
Partner with the marketing and sales team to support occupancy and retention efforts.
Represent Lantern Crest to external agencies partners and community members.
Participate in quality improvement programs and help maintain a clean safe and welcoming environment for all.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in operations management or administrative leadership in senior living healthcare hospitality or related field.
Strong understanding of Independent Living or senior housing preferred.
Experience supervising department heads and managing crossfunctional teams.
Knowledge of California licensing and regulatory compliance is a plus.
Demonstrated leadership interpersonal and customer service skills.
Ability to manage budgets track outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement.
Must possess excellent communication organizational and decisionmaking skills.
