Job Description
JOB SUMMARY

General assembly position to help the team meet production goals. Position requires strong assembly skills and able to handle saw work. The individual is expected to perform without assistance and under minimal supervision.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for assembly of small products with large batches and requires stenciling.
Operate the saw.
Strong knowledge of fabrication tools such as grinders.
Following job routers and correctly clock hours properly for the designated task.
Individuals are required to inspect the preexisting weld of the received part to ensure and uphold the integrity of the part.
Individuals will utilize cranes and hoist when appropriate for the designated task.
Individuals will be required to utilize forklifts as needed.
Individuals are requested to be able to inspect the part prior and post weld to ensure it meets the requirements of the task.
Maintain a clean and organized working area.
Be safety conscious and report any safety hazards to HSE.
Promote a safe working environment in accordance with the appropriate HSE procedure(s).
Participate in actions which promote a safety and quality culture within NOV.
Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
Maintain a clean & organized work area; utilize safe work habits.
Perform other workrelated tasks as assigned.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma or equivalent required.
Vocational education (high school GED or other appropriate education commercial or shop training; technical school).
Minimum 35 yrs of assembly experience.
Must be able to read blueprints/drawing to determine tasks with minimal assistance & supervision.
Must be able to handle general assembly of small parts measure bores and read saw prints.
Comfortable working with Pneumatic power tools & must be able to use tag and stamping laser machines.
Industryrelated experience is a plus.
Job Shop and Welding experience is a plus.
All welding certifications must be obtained onsite (must be certified through NOV).
Operate forklifts & cranes as needed.
Forklift and Crane certification is a plus.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Ability to pass a drug screen & background check.
Must be willing and able to work flexible shifts and a changing work schedule.
Must be able to communicate in English (both written and oral) as it relates to the job.
Superior interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.
Must have a willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges.
Able to work well in a team environment as well as selfdirected when working independently.
Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and procedures.
Ability to adapt and be crosstrained to learn all job duties.
Ability to multitask in fast paced environment.
Work will be performed in a factory environment with a wide range of temperature changes.
Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as welding gear gloves protective clothing glasses/goggles respirator/face mask ear protection and safety shoes throughout the shift.
Work may be performed in areas with exposure to harmful physical and chemical agents (e.g. fumes dust heat ionizing/nonionizing radiation and chemicals).
Per HSE requirements participation in medical surveillance programs may be required
Must be able to lift pull or push up to 50 pounds and remain on feet for most of the shift.
Frequent bending required during setups and measurement verifications.
