POSITION SUMMARY:

The Maintenance Supervisor installs performs preventive maintenance and repairs of manufacturing equipment and performs general building maintenance. Provide direction guidance and supervision to all maintenance team members and/or vendors/contractors at the community.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Oversee cleaning painting interior/exterior decorating and maintenance lawn care snowremoval replacement of light plumbing electrical work roof repairs appliance evaluation and repair relocation of furniture/fixtures etc.
  • Responsible for preparing and implementing weekly maintenance team work schedules and prioritizing work orders
  • Make budget recommendations to the Facilities Manager for all maintenance line items and assist in controlling maintenance expenses.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on all production equipment: injection molding presses ancillary equipment and forklift
  • Operate and modify machine controls
  • Perform internal and external building maintenance such as lighting water gas cooling towers air compressors painting cleaning plumbing
  • Order parts & supplies and maintain a replacement part supplies inventory
  • Repair and troubleshoot: injection molding machines ancillary injection molding equipment forklift various types of metal working equipment including general machine tools and CNC equipment
  • Maintain a clean and safe working area
  • Know and follow established Company policies particularly safety policies
  • Perform duties in a safe manner with regard for the safety of others
  • Maintain and manage company PM software.
  • Responsible to maintain & support processes procedures & K.P.I.s owned by your position.
  • Review of all procedures related to your job per HR LG 01 Training Matrix
  • Completion within time stated of all training required by Job Description in HR LG 01 Training Matrix
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Regular and punctual attendance.
  • Follow all Company policies and procedures.
  • Oversee 2 direct reports.

Requirements

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Good communications skills
  • Selfmotivated
  • Computer literate
  • Previous leadership experience

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent or 5years experience
  • Read write & speak English
  • Able to follow written & oral instructions
  • General knowledge of electrical plumbing carpentry welding brazing soldering principles and practices
  • Physically capable to perform duties (no fear of heights)
  • General knowledge of electrical hydraulic pneumatic heating and AC systems
  • Flexibility in working schedule
  • Complete knowledge of all electrical and mechanical hand tools

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • The performance of this position will require exposure to the manufacturing areas where all areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses hearing protection steel toe shoes and other mandatory safety equipment.
  • For the most part ambient temperatures with typical plant lighting and manufacturing equipment are present throughout the facility.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Sit or stand as needed.
  • Walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day.
  • Reaching above shoulder height below the waist or lifting as required to reach documents or store materials throughout the workday.
  • Proper lifting techniques required.
  • Ability and comfortability to work in small confine spaces while following proper safety protocol.
  • Ability to accomplish the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
