HOW YOULL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE
In this role you will:
- You will manage all aspects of the Bitbucket Data Center environment to ensure high availability security scalability and seamless integration across tools and services.
- You will develop automation scripts using Python and Linux shell scripting in order to support incident resolution configuration management upgrades and provisioning.
- You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams (including Security Legal and IT) to implement access controls integrations and compliance requirements.
- You will drive improvements in infrastructure and user experience by validating configuration hanges enhancing monitoring and reducing manual efforts through automation.
- You will serve as the primary support contact for developers and engineering teams to troubleshoot Bitbucket issues including CI/CD integrations and REST API customizations.

Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science Software Engineering or a related field
4 years of software development experience
Skills:
- Experience administering and supporting Bitbucket Data Center or other enterprise Gitbased source code hosting platforms.
- Strong experience with Linux systems administration and scripting (Bash Python).
- Handson expertise with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible Terraform Chef Puppet.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines source code integrations REST APIs and managing rolebased access.
- Familiarity with infrastructure components such as VMs databases backups networking and SSO.
- Ability to coordinate with IT and Engineering teams to deploy and validate environment changes.
- Experience working in a DevTools/SRE/Platform Engineering capacity in an enterprise setting.
