Salary:TSAT Teacher ScaleTLR 5698 per annum

The Portsmouth Academyare seeking to appoint a dynamicTeacher of Mathswho will also take on the vital role ofMastery Specialist. This is a unique opportunity to shape the direction of maths teaching and learning across the school and beyond.
You will teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4 bringing lessons to life with creativity and clarity and a masteryfocused approach. As the Mastery Specialist you will champion deep conceptual understanding support curriculum development and provide leadership and professional development to colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver highquality maths lessons fostering a love of learning and problemsolving.
- Lead the implementation of a mastery curriculum across all year groups.
- Work closely with the Head of Maths and SLT to raise attainment and close learning gaps.
- Mentor and support colleagues in developing mastery teaching strategies.
- Represent the school in wider mastery networks and collaborate with national initiatives
