Intertek a leading provider of quality and safety solutions to many of the worlds toprecognized brands and companies is actively seeking anAdministrative Assistantto join our Professional Services Industries Inc. (IntertekPSI) team in Dallas Texas. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career in the architectural engineering and construction (A/E/C) industry.

Professional Service Industries Inc. (IntertekPSI) is a leading US based provider of construction assurance testing and inspection in civil and commercial construction. Our broad service offering includes construction materials testing geotechnical services environmental engineering industrial hygiene and specialty testing.

What are we looking for

TheAdministrative Assistantis responsible for creating various documents spreadsheets etc. utilizing Microsoft Office software.

What youll do:

  • Create accurate billing/invoicing to be presented to their customers per their invoicing instructions.
  • Coordinate with operational contacts to ensure all billing and collection issues are addressed for their assigned customers.
  • Support other team members as the needs arise in order to meet deadlines and departmental goals.
  • Communicate billing/invoicing exceptions to resolve any concerns their assigned customers may present.
  • Actively manage their portfolio with their working knowledge of their assigned customers billing requirements to get their billings/invoices out timely.
  • Responsible for submitting invoices and supporting documents into client portals timely. Periodically checking the invoices status and make changes or updates accordingly until the submitted invoices are approved for payment.510 bullet points of duties
  • Perform various general office duties including word processing copying mailing filing etc.
  • Research a wide variety of information requests
  • Develop update and/or reviewlocal operating procedures and/or work instructions as needed

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Excellent prioritization organization and time management skills
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Ability to work independently in a fastpaced multitasking environment with shifting priorities
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems
  • Ability to type quickly and accurately
  • Ability to plan organize and complete a variety of projects within established standards objectives and time frames

Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:

  • 2 years experience in an administrative support position
  • Experience with Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable
