Job Description

The HighFidelity Wraparound (HFW) Support Partner Supervisor is an individual with lived experience either having been involved in a childserving system (such as DHS/CUA JJS and/or behavioral health services) as a youth and/or parenting a child who was involved with a childserving system. The Support Partner Supervisor manages the daily operations of the HFW Support Partner team. The Support Partner Supervisor ensures that all Support Partners are properly onboarded and that any additional training needs are addressed. The Support Partner Supervisor will participate in teaming and assigning HFW referrals and will also be responsible for maintaining productive partnerships with various community resources as well as across other CBH Teams.

The Support Partner Supervisor is also responsible for ensuring that all Family Support Partners (FSPs) and Youth Support Partners (YSPs) are properly trained and credentialed in their roles in the HighFidelity Wraparound model. The Support Partner Supervisor provides a variety of coaching and training opportunities to the Support Partners including individual small group and live (in the field) coaching. Once Support Partners are credentialed in their respective roles the Support Partner Supervisor will continue to provide regular coaching to ensure the model continues to be followed to fidelity.

Essential Functions:

  • Builds and maintains a strong functional team through effective recruiting training performance management coaching and team building.
  • Fosters a whole person and traumainformed culture of wellness within their team
  • Manages the assignment of HFW youth/families as well as quality of work on assigned tasks and provide feedback.
  • Collaborates with HFW Clinical Care Management Supervisor and Clinical Coordinator of Childrens Complex Care to provide clinically informed supervision to each Support Partner at least twice monthly (one individual and one group) and more often as needed.
  • Collaborates with HFW Clinical Care Management Supervisor to review data relevant to youth/families served by the HFW team to guide interventions and assess staff performance.
  • Models and requires exceptional customer service in working with members and providers.
  • Documents supervision notes and next steps consistent with standards in the field.
  • Provides and documents 3 hours weekly of HighFidelity Wraparound coaching (group individual or live) to each Support Partner:
    1. At least 1 hour of coaching monthly per employee must be provided live in the field.
  • Creates monthly Professional Development Plans to tailor coaching goals and methods to the individual learning style of each Support Partner while also tracking their training/coaching needs and progress
  • Attending all mandatory county and state training.
  • Attend weekly supervision with Childrens Complex Care Coordinator
  • Adhere to the 10 Principles of HighFidelity Wraparound
  • Ensure that the principles and steps of the HighFidelity Wraparound process are delivered with the highest possible fidelity.
  • Other nonessential duties as specified by the immediate supervisor.

Position Requirements:

  • Education:
    • High School Diploma/GED preferred and four years of mental health direct care experience.
    • Bachelors degree (highly desired) or some college course work in social work or related field and two years of mental health direct care experience
  • License/Certification:
    1. Valid PA Drivers License
    2. HFW FSP Coach and YSP Coach Credentials within 12 months of hire
    3. Valid clearances including Criminal Record Child Abuse and FBI must be received prior to start date
  • Relevant Work Experience:
    1. Have supervisory experience (2 or more years preferred) or other relevant leadership experience that exhibits leadership skills and capacity.
    2. Experience working with children and families.
    3. Understanding of adolescent and family resources and service systems within Philadelphia
    4. Knowledge of child welfare system
  • Skills:
    1. Ability to develop manage and maintain relationships with others.
    2. Ability to engage others through continued education.
    3. Strong communication skills
    4. Excellent documentation skills
    5. Highly detailoriented and organized.
    6. Strong time management skills
    7. Ability to work in the evening or on the weekend as needed to meet the needs of YSPs and FSPs and the youth/families they serve.
    8. Can accommodate frequent travel within Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs and occasional out of state travel.

Work Conditions (including travel overtime required physical requirements and occupational exposure):

  • Must be able to travel frequently In Philadelphia and surrounding counties.
  • Outofstate travel may be required occasionally.
  • Some evenings and weekends will be required to meet the needs of FSPs YSPs and youth/families served.
  • Regularly requires walking standing stooping bending sitting reaching pushing pulling and/or repetitive wrist/hand movements for various lengths of time throughout the day.
  • Ability to utilize computers and office equipment to complete daily work responsibilities.
  • Regularly works inside in areas that are adequately lighted and ventilated. Some fluctuation in temperature. No protective equipment is routinely needed.
  • Must be able to adapt to continuous changes/demands of the job.


Philadelphia Residency Requirement:

  • The successful candidate must be a current Philadelphia resident or become a resident within six months of hire.
