Job Description
Supervisor Electrical
Location:
East Boulder Mine McLeod MT
Schedule:
Rotating 5x4x4x5
Day Shift: 5:30am 6:30pm
Night Shift: 5:30pm 6:30am
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
As the Underground Stationary / Electrical Supervisor this position oversees all stationary equipment activities electrical and communications for the mine with a direct report to the Electrical General Foreman. The Stationary / Electrical Maintenance Supervisors primary task is to make certain all designated work is carried out in an effective and safe manner.
Qualifications and Skills:
Required:
- Leadership qualities including character teamwork communication business sense and vision.
- Proven safety record understanding of health safety and environmental regulations.
- Experience in processing plant operations and maintenance.
- Experience with High Medium and Low voltage Distribution and Installation.
- Working knowledge of Federal and State electric codes and laws.
- Scheduling and planning experience.
- Excellent problemsolving skills.
Preferred:
- 12 years of underground supervisory experience in the field of maintenance.
- Computer skills Microsoft Office and JD Edwards.
- Good communication skills verbal and written / fair and consistent.
- Understanding of interrelated groups and areas.
- Ability to read schematics.
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 35 years working in a heavy industrial / mining environment with emphasis in electrical and maintenance areas.
