Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe Reliable Maintainable and delivered on time. Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering our program offices and our customers. Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. Our focus area is product support including the following disciplines: Reliability System Safety and Supportability.
Reporting to the Engineering Services Manager the Senior Training Developer will play a pivotal role in designing and developing highquality technical training courses and delivering Train the Trainer programs to ensure enduser capability. In addition to training design and development this role focuses on enhancing graphical illustrations technical writing standards and supporting the Engineering teams documentation capabilities to meet critical business and customer requirements.

What You Will Do:
This role will provide support to the THAAD/TPY2 Radar team course developers instructor lead and task lead to continuously develop pioneering industry leading training material for program execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with engineering teams to create highquality documentation that meets user needs and customer standards
- Write format edit review and proofread procedural and technical information for both technical and nontechnical audiences as a THAAD/TPY2 Radar Subject Matter Expert (SME)
- Apply SME knowledge and expertise to the review development and sustainment of training courseware
- Organize material and complete writing assignments according to set standards regarding order clarity conciseness style and terminology
- Maintain records and files of work including revisions images diagrams and charts to illustrate material
- Deliver technical product training including TraintheTrainer (T3) courses to key stakeholders ensuring training materials are comprehensive effective and delivered on time
- Maintain project timelines for training and documentation deliverables
- Coordinate with task lead to ensure that milestones are met and risks are managed
- Working knowledge of the Common Product Data Management (PDM) system and how to leverage its capabilities
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
- Experience with THAAD/TPY2 Radar.
- Experience with Instructional Systems Design (ISD) and/or developing training materials.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience with other active electronically scanned arrays or radar / sensor systems
- Strong technical writing skills for various audiences with the ability to simplify complex concepts aligned to military standards and specifications
- Ability to read interpret and analyze Engineering documentation such as: Experience with Engineering Drawings Parts Lists and/or Schematics
- Proven ability to introduce change and improve documentation and training standards
- Understanding and application of Instructional Design concepts in blended learning principles
- Experience with Microsoft Office Publisher HTML Dreamweaver and eLearning software
- Understanding and application of Graphic / Visual Design concepts

Huntsville AL: salary range for this role is 82000 USD 164000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
