Job Description

Nashoba Valley Technical High School is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic full time DESE Certified School Nurse to lead the nurses office at Nashoba Valley Technical High School. Nashoba Valley Technical High School is a vocational technical school district serving the towns of Ayer Chelmsford Groton Littleton Pepperell Shirley Townsend and Westford Massachusetts. Certification as School Nurse from Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Current first aid and CPR certification Experience with schoolage nursing young adult experience preferred Current understanding of health issues in schoolage children Familiarity with public health requirements for public schools Adequate skill with computer to manage computerized health data system Commitment to health and wellbeing of schoolage children Willingness to be a member of a system healthcare team Ability to work well with staff parents and students Excellent verbal ad written communication skills
