Job Description

Position Overview

A leading American manufacturing and engineering company is looking for a reliable and safetyconscious Facilities Maintenance Associate to support facility operations across its industrial campus. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys handson work takes pride in maintaining a clean and functional workplace and wants to grow within a stable and wellrespected organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general maintenance on building systems and nontechnical equipment.

  • Provide janitorial and mailroom services as needed throughout the facility.

  • Replace light bulbs and filters pull computer cabling and complete other basic support tasks.

  • Operate equipment such as forklifts pallet movers and power dollies (training provided).

  • Assist skilled tradespeople (electrical HVAC plumbing carpentry) with nontechnical support tasks.

  • Set up and relocate office furniture and equipment according to facility plans.

  • Participate in afterhours moves to minimize business disruption.

  • Maintain external grounds by mowing trimming removing snow/debris and cultivating landscaping.

  • Operate power equipment such as snow blowers and lawnmowers.

  • Transport equipment and supplies across campus and to external locations.

  • Respond to facilityrelated service requests from internal teams.

  • Complete additional tasks and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

  • 1 year of experience in maintenance janitorial or facilities support roles (preferred).

  • Comfortable using tools and working with hands in a dynamic environment.

  • Ability to follow safety protocols and company procedures.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Valid drivers license may be required based on site needs.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Stand and walk for more than 75% of the workday.

  • Regular bending kneeling climbing ladders and navigating large facility spaces.

  • Ability to push or pull carts/pallets weighing over 100 pounds.
