You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Group Functions Technology (GFT) Legal Compliance and Government Relations (LCG) team is looking for an IT Business Analyst (Fall 2025 coop).
You will work as part of a highperforming team contributing to delivering digital solutions to reallife business problems while being mentored and guided by competent colleagues in IT Business Analyst roles. The successful applicant will be involved with business requirement gathering technical development and application support across technology platforms. You will work with our business users along with Risk and Technology teams to enhance develop and add new functionality to our portfolio of core Compliance Legal Investigative Services and Government Relations applications.
Position Responsibilities:
Work as part of the application support resource for numerous Compliance Legal Investigative Services and Government Relations applications at Manulife
Assist with measuring and optimizing system performance with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward getting ahead of customer needs improving reliability and innovating to continually improve
We have business partners vendors and other IT groups within our environment. Building and maintaining positive relationships and ensuring superior customer service is a daily mission.
Good verbal and written communication; able to effectively articulate technical vision possibilities
Good organizational and problemsolving abilities that enable you to manage through creative abrasion
Required Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a coop program at your postsecondary institution.
Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Business Administration Economics Infromation Technology Computer Science Statistics or a related field.
Effective communicator who can negotiate effectively with business to clarify needs vs. wants/likes in order to balance business direction/requirements with cost of development and risk
You live and breathe operational service improvement. This is part of who you are and with your support we will ensure the team is operating as efficiently as expected
Possessing the ability to influence others get it done together negotiate build bridges adapt to change and overcome barriers
Knowledge in the following will be considered a strong asset: SQL Server stored procedure and complex SQL Query Client/Server applications Azure Pivotal or other cloudbased platforms Power BI and other reporting tools and Jira
Good organizational and problemsolving abilities that enable you to manage through creative abrasion
Experiments with emerging technologies and understanding how they will impact what comes next.

Salary will vary depending on local market conditions geography and relevant jobrelated factors such as knowledge skills qualifications experience and education/training.
