What You Will Do
Plan and develop tooling methods for the assembly disassembly inspection repair and test of Pratt & Whitney commercial and military jet engines. Project Engineer must exercise a high degree of initiative and judgment during the development of assembly tooling. You will analyze plan and establish tool requirements to support assembly and disassembly of validation and production engines and modules.

Develop concepts for assembly/disassembly procedures.
Manage project tasks to ensure tooling is delivered on time and within budget.
Participate in P&W Integrated Product Teams (IPT) to help ensure assembly tooling designs can be produced supported and maintained.
Interface with customer and supplier representatives to identify requirements and resolve assembly tooling related issues.
Travel is up to 5% based on business needs.
Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelors degree in Aerospace or Mechanical engineering or Engineering technology.
5 years of engineering experience or an Advanced degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology with 3 years of engineering experience.
2 years of experience with CAD drawings.
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience with Project Management toolsets (e.g. Agile SAP Primavera or MS Project) and experience using and navigating Teamcenter and Unigraphics/NX.
Understanding of manufacturing practices jet engine assembly/disassembly and maintenance procedures.
Experience leading engineering teams budgets and schedules while balancing the ability to solve technical problems with minimal direction.
Ability to interface effectively with both internal and external customers utilizing solid communication skills.
Active Security Clearance.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers as they are essential to the development of our engines.

The salary range for this role is 82000 USD 164000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
