Essential Role Requirements:
- Operating the telehandler to lift move and place various materials and objects
- Ensuring stability and security of loads before and during movement
- Navigating work site safely especially around personnel and complex environments
- Able to select appropriate attachments for different types of loads and operations
- Adhering to safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safe operation of the telehandler and minimize the risk of accidents or injuries to oneself and others on the job site
- Able to competently carry out daily prestart plant safety inspections and maintenance checks and communicate service requirements in good time to the site management team
- Able to carry out essential greasing basic maintenance and always keep machines clean and tidy
Desirable:
- Additional CPCS/NPORS* tickets and experienced in operating any of the following; Excavators Dumpers Rollers.
General Expectations:
- Reliable & punctual
- Able to work well with other trades and operatives on site and support the programme delivery on time
- Right to work in the UK
