Based at a cuttingedge logistics facility in Melbourne this role is essential to maintaining operational excellence in one of Australias most advanced automated sites.
The Role:
As the onsite automation expert youll be responsible for:
- Performing corrective maintenance and troubleshooting on stateoftheart equipment
- Conducting scheduled preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability
- Reporting on system performance faults and corrective actions
- Building strong trustbased relationships with site personnel
- Providing onthejob training and promoting system improvements
- Managing spare parts and organizing tools and resources onsite
What Were Looking For:
Technical Skills:
- Qualifications in electromechanics or industrial automation
- Experience in electrical pneumatic hydraulic and mechanical systems
- Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces (with training)
- Experience with Siemens Beckhoff Rockwell or Allen Bradley PLCs (advantageous)
Soft Skills:
- Proactive selfstarting approach
- Strong problemsolving under pressure
- Excellent communication and fluent English
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a techforward environment
Essential Requirements:
- UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician
- Agrade Electrical Licence
- Full Australian working rights
- Valid drivers licence and access to a vehicle
