Description
Do you have a love for mathematics education and enjoy helping teachers to implement highquality instruction Join our team as a Teaching & Research Intern and assist with preparing documents to aid external reviewers and creating support materials for teachers using our K12 mathematics program.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assisting with projects related to external reviews including planning and developing reviewer guides obtaining screenshots and reviewing presentation materials.
- Contributing to evidence documents citing strong exemplars within K12 materials to satisfy key evaluation criteria.
- Creating and reviewing sample answers for selected open tasks within K12 materials.
- Reviewing or assisting with blogs product briefs and RFP narratives.
- Assisting with file management to move documentation to permanent server storage.
- Supporting the Teaching & Research team in daily administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
- Is currently pursuing a bachelors degree in mathematics education.
- Has successfully completed an early field experience or has other relevant experience in K12 classrooms.
- Possesses indepth knowledge of instructional best practices in mathematics.
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrates math proficiency up to and including Calculus.
