Job Description
Requirements:
Hold or qualify for an Oregon teaching license through Teacher Standards and Practices
Commission with an Elementary endorsement and authorization and be considered highly
qualified by the Oregon Department of KCSD licensed employee.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (Not Necessarily Limited To)
- Plan daily instruction using the provided materials
- Develop plan and deliver integrated enrichment hour
- Progress monitor student learning
- Record student attendance
- Foster positive relationships with students parents and other staff
- Provide an engaging nurturing and safe learning environment
- Participate in professional learning of summer school curriculum
Days: MondayFriday
Times:Varies (5 hours)
Dates: June 23rd July 17th (no school on July 4)
Current Rate of Pay
June 20 is Training and Planning Day for teachers and paras
Typical Daily Schedule:
8:008:30 Student arrival and breakfast
8:3012:00 Instruction
12:0012:30 Lunch and dismissal
12:301:00 Teacher Planning for next day
Multiple positions available. This is a temporary position. Two locations: Henley El and Merrill El.
