Associate consultant SDET Test Engineer (Digital Banking)
Position: Associate consultant SDET
Experience: 6 to 10 years
Location: Hyderabad
Employment Type: FullTime
Work Mode: Work from Office
Skill Set: Selenium with Java
Notice Period: Looking for 15 Days or Less
Shift Timings: 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM
Overall General Job Function:
Responsible for creating and maintaining automated test scripts which are integrated within CI/CD Pipelines. Bridges the gap between development and testing which contributes to robust and reliable software systems.
Briefly summarize the general duties/responsibilities:
In the role of a Software Development Test Engineer you will be integral to the software development process focusing on quality assurance through automated testing. Your responsibilities include designing and implementing automated test scripts based on business requirements ensuring comprehensive coverage of all features. You will analyze test results troubleshoot issues and work towards resolving defects. You will contribute to solution design discussions to ensure alignment of development and QA objectives. Additionally you will maintain documentation of test outcomes and stay abreast of new testing tools and methodologies to continuously improve the testing process. Your contributions are essential for delivering software that meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Briefly summarize the minimum required years of experience and education:
Bachelors degree in computer science Electrical Engineering or Information Systems
4 years proven experience in:
Programming
Test automation
Manual testing
Writing clear concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Proficient in integrating testing in CI/CD Pipelines
Strong understanding of software QA methodologies tools and processes.
Other knowledge skills or abilities:
Extensive knowledge of:
DevOps and Test Automation toolsets including
Selenium
Cucumber
JD Reques0074
Git
Docker
Jenkins
White box and black box testing.
Strong skills in:
Test driven development techniques
Behaviordriven development methodology
Scripting and programming languages (e.g. Python Java).
Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus.
Performance and/or security testing
Analysis judgment and project management
Interpersonal communication both verbal and written with technical and nontechnical staff
Ability to:
Work effectively in a team environment.
Adapt to changing technology and priorities.
Work independently manage multiple concurrent projects and prioritize effectively.
Interpret validate and map business requirements to appropriate solutions.
