The Opportunity

The IT Consultantis responsible for providing PeaceWorks clients with effective advice support and leadership to help meet their IT needs.

The IT Consultant must be a confident and capable communicator as well as a highly competent and knowledgeable IT expert.

The ability to interpret complex ITrelated concepts and relay them in nontechnical terms is also essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage client relationships and IT project pipelines

• Serve as primary escalation consultant for client organizations

• Solve a wide range of technical challenges that arise across many client environments

• Handle technical escalations
  from PeaceWorks consultants

• Mentor other PeaceWorks consultants
  

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

• At least 5 years of experience in the IT industry.

• The ability to selfmanage and prioritize tasks for multiple clients.

• The ability to work independently and as a strong contributing member of the team.

• Experience managing all aspects of customer Microsoft 365 environments

• Experience working with a variety of network topologies devices and protocols.

• Experience managing Windows Server environments

• Demonstrated ability to learn new skills and apply those skills to your work environment

• Some lifting and carrying of equipment is necessary.

• Valid drivers licence and use of own vehicle.

Additional Qualifications:

Possession of any of these additional skills or qualifications would be an asset:

• Postsecondary education in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent experience.

• Experience relating IT issues to public and notforprofit sectors.

• Previous Consulting or Technical Sales experience.

• Courses in networking system administration and/or hardware maintenance.
