This is a remotefirst position with occasional travel to local or national offices and/or client sites as needed. The preferred candidate will be located in the western United States.

We design comprehensive insurance programs offer strategic consulting and use advanced analytics to support informed decisionmaking. The Associate Client Advocate (ACA) is a midcareer position responsible for clientfacing tasks using advanced skills in Commercial Property and Casualty Insurance. This role involves supporting client relationships developing strategies and executing insurance programs working with a Producer and Client Advocate in our Healthcare and Life Sciences Division. The ACA manages client service activities and engagement coordinating daily with a Client Specialist in our Global Service Delivery (GSD) Team. As the main contact for service escalation and placement needs the ACA understands the clients business and industry helping to maximize profitability and support new business efforts. The ACAs main goal is to provide an excellent client experience focusing on direct engagement and retention. This includes working with sales and broking teams to understand market changes creating and delivering presentations/proposals responding to RFPs and attending presentations as needed.

As an ACA you have the potential to serve as a mentor to other ACAs a partner for others within your Industry Vertical Division (IVD) or an ACA Team Leader.

The Role

  • Retain a moderately complex book of business while developing and strengthening client relationships.
  • Identify engage and integrate all WTW internal resources to deliver exceptional client experience.
  • Provide direct or supporting strategic planning and consulting advice to clients monitoring insurance and risk management needs in collaboration with WTW resource practice and industry groups.
  • Recommend appropriate solutions throughout the policy term including acquisition due diligence.
  • Maximize the profitability of client accounts and drive retention of business.
  • Collaborate with the Client Advocate to actively expand existing client relationships and support new business prospecting.
  • Work with client teams during internal and external strategy meetings.
  • Engage with sales and broking teams to understand marketplace changes.
  • Support fee/compensation agreements and overall client invoicing processes.
  • Support defensive RFP responses.
  • Aid in the design and delivery of comprehensive client presentations/proposals advocacy reports service plans and schedules.
  • Coordinate the renewal process to establish and implement clientspecific renewal strategies collaborating with WTW resources and industry groups to develop and deliver renewals to clients.
  • Ensure all policy requirements (legal regulatory and compliance) are met.
  • Manage clientlevel coordination and all service delivery activities (GSD).
  • Engage service liaisons (Subject Matter Experts or Client Operations Specialists) on escalations.
  • Gather and receive all client information in collaboration with the Client Specialist.
  • Oversee all service delivery activities including audits policy reviews resolving accounting issues managing aged receivables and bad debt surplus lines affidavits client invoicing and issuance of certificates of insurance and auto identification cards.


Qualifications

The Requirements

  • Minimum of 57 years of commercial Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance expertise in a clientfacing role demonstrating the ability to fulfill all role responsibilities is required.
  • An active insurance brokers P&C license and necessary continuing education activities.
  • Specialized healthcare industry knowledge (Medical Malpractice Hospital Professional Liability etc.) preferred.
  • Proficient in applying knowledge of coverage forms to analyze program design identify coverage gaps and provide ongoing coverage consultation.
  • Capable of understanding interpreting analyzing and presenting complex analytical models based on the accountability requirements.
  • Exceptional skills in leveraging internal and external relationships to tailor WTW resources and assets to client needs.
  • Skilled in conflict resolution and securing concessions without compromising relationships.
  • Deep understanding of strategy tactics and solutions relevant to clients and the carrier marketplace.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the commercial insurance renewal process including all steps and stakeholders.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills adept at group presentations and driving complex/technical conversations.
  • Proven ability to manage daily work assignments mentor colleagues and collaborate effectively with colleagues across various business lines and regions around the world.
  • Highly receptive to feedback with strong critical thinking and problemsolving skills and high adaptability.
  • Support the Client Advocate in advocating for change taking control of client deliverables and team projects leading key delivery areas and collaborating with internal/external stakeholders to ensure effective role fulfillment.
  • Strong project management skills supporting the Client Advocate in overseeing large complex ambiguous or multidimensional projects from start to finish.
  • Adept in Microsoft Office especially Excel and familiar with other relevant online tools.
  • Insurance industry designations such as CPCU ARM CIC CRIS and CRM are preferred but not required.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors including but not limited to location of the role individual competencies education/professional certifications qualifications/experience performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).

Compensation

The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $90000 $130000 USD per year.

This role is also eligible for an annual shortterm incentive bonus.
