As we approach the end of the academic year SSVEC is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for engineering students. If youre looking to build your resume gain practical experience and work with professionals committed to delivering safe and reliable power consider applying for our Summer Engineering Intern II position.
This internship offers handson experience working with our experienced engineers gaining insight into substation operations protective relaying line equipment and cooperative standards. Our interns assist in various aspects of system design system protection and system analysis for power quality. Additionally they will gain practical skills working with various electronic control systems and protection system equipment and have the chance to exercise their computeraided drafting skills.
Minimum qualifications: Currently enrolled in a college engineering program or related technical field (Electrical Mechanical or Civil preferred). Familiarity with Microsoft Office. Preferred: Experience or coursework in AutoCAD and engineering calculations. Apply online at by Monday May 19 2025.
