Assistant Front of House Manager - Nights

We are currently seeking adedicated resourceful and proactive Assistant Front of House Manager Nights to oversee our overnight operations across Front of House Housekeeping and Security. This pivotal role ensures that our guests experience seamless service and that our estate operates smoothly and safely throughout the night.

The on target earning potential for this role is 42365 / per annum comprising a base salary of 37365 plus a qualified estimate of 5000 in gratuities and service charge.* As a member of the Gleneagles team you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks benefits and rewards.

Youll be working 39 hours 5 days from 7 from 11.30pm to 7.30am.

Heres a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:

• As the senior leader on duty overnight youll provide calm confident guidance across our Front of House Housekeeping and Security teams ensuring every guest interaction reflects the warmth care and excellence at the heart of Gleneagles
• Youll handle latenight guest enquiries and concerns with grace and professionalism offering thoughtful solutionsfocused responses that leave guests feeling reassured valued and well cared for
• With precision and diligence youll manage night audit procedures maintaining accurate records ensuring all financial reporting is correct and preparing clear insightful handovers to support a seamless transition to the day team
• Youll run key overnight reports such as Rate Checks and ensure that billing for the following day is fully accurate upholding the highest standards of operational integrity
• Responsible for the safety and security of the estate during your shift youll conduct regular checks and respond swiftly to any emergencies; leading our overnight response with clarity and composure prioritising the wellbeing of our guests and people while minimising disruption
• When required youll liaise with emergency services professionally and efficiently ensuring all incidents are properly recorded followed up and communicated to our senior leadership team
• Youll lead by example delivering discreet intuitive and anticipatory service that sets the tone for your team and upholds our reputation even in the quietest hours
• Working collaboratively with departments across the estate youll help set the stage for the day ahead coordinating plans anticipating needs and ensuring our guests arrival experience is seamless
• In partnership with our Housekeeping Night Manager and Supervisors youll ensure that our public areas remain immaculate throughout the night and that any special Housekeeping requests are fulfilled with care and precision
• Interacting with our guests always warm professional helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way

• You bring proven leadership experience within luxury hospitality ideally with a strong background in night operations and youre confident overseeing multiple departments with a steady hand and unwavering focus on precision
• Calm under pressure and composed in any situation you handle emergencies with clarity and care making sound welljudged decisions that ensure the safety security and continuity of the hotel through the night
• A natural communicator you engage confidently with guests colleagues and external partners alike navigating every interaction with warmth professionalism and ease
• Technically adept youre wellversed in front office systems (PMS POS) highly competent in managing night audit procedures and fully up to speed with hotel security protocols and emergency response practices
• You lead from the front setting the tone for your team with a collaborative respectful and supportive culture where everyone feels empowered to deliver their best work
• Independent and selfmotivated you thrive in the unique rhythm of the night shift while bringing valuable experience in leading crossfunctional teams with confidence and care
• Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; youre passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand
• You have a positive can do attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner
• A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; youre well organised and punctual
