Job Description

Tavern Supervisor

  • $84511 super
  • 14 days on and 7x days off rotating day/night roster
  • Accommodation and meals provided
  • The role is drivein/driveout or busin busout (ex Mackay) and would be ideal for candidates local to the Moranbah and Mackay regions

ESS provides multiservice capability to major companies and organisations operating in remote sites gold mines and coal fields. We provide vital workplace support for people working in some of the most isolated terrains in the world from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold mines in the Australian Outback. Due to anticipated growth across our flagship portfolio in Central QLD we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Tavern Supervisor to join the team at Buffel Park Village or Eureka in the Moranbah region.

The Position

You will be responsible for leading a team within our bar and retail departments to ensure facilities are clean and comply with our contractual obligations.

You will be a driven individual that is able to train lead and motivate your team working alongside with management to achieve desired results.

Your role will consist of an array of tasks including but not limited to cleaning serving alcohol restocking retail restocking alcohol customer service housekeeping & kitchen work if required.

The Person

  • Experience in a similar supervisory role leading a large diverse team
  • Commercial experience (Hotel Mining or Resort environment preferable)
  • Ability to lead a successful team and have a strong sense of ownership and responsibility of the teams overall performance
  • Commitment and ability to drive a positive and sustainable safety culture
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create implement and evaluate training and procedures
