Job Description
7th and 8th Grade Math Teacher
All Saints Catholic School is seeking a dynamic faithfilled and knowledgeable fulltime 7th and 8th grade math teacher for theschool year. We seek dynamic and energetic candidates passionately committed to Catholic education.
Professional Responsibilities Include:
- Embodies and promotes the mission and vision of All Saints Catholic School
- Acts as a witness to Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the Catholic Church
- Teaches 7th and 8th grade math including PreAlgebra and Algebra I
- Develops and implements a rigorous standardsbased curriculum
- Consistently creates a high level of active student engagement and studentled learning
- Applies differentiated instruction and assessment that improves achievement for all learners in a learnercentered and collaborative environment
- Develops and uses effective methods of evaluation that are directly related to curriculum objectives and to concepts and skills taught; consistently and effectively evaluate student progress
- Uses technology to strengthen the teaching/learning process including iPads Chromebooks smart boards and online instructional platforms
- Establishes a consistent disciplinary approach which promotes selfdirection and confidence; sets high standards for student behavior and manages inappropriate behavior effectively
- Communicates regularly with families and implements clear communication systems
- Cooperates with school administration; works effectively with all staff members to promote positive relationships with students and parents
- Completes additional administrative operational and professional responsibilities and duties as needed
