We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide per diem coverage across the Acute Rehab Unit (ARU) and acute care floors. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician looking for flexible hours while making a meaningful impact on patient recovery.
Responsibilities:Evaluate diagnose and treat speech language cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders
Provide SLP services to patients in both Acute Rehab and Acute Care Units
Collaborate with physicians nurses PT/OT teams and case managers for coordinated patient care
Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the medical record
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings as needed
Deliver high-quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical environment
Current California SLP License (Required)
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) (Required)
BLS certification (AHA) (Required)
Recent acute care experience preferred
Ability to work independently and adapt to varied clinical settings
Minimum availability of 3 weekdays per week 2 Saturdays/month
