Job Description
Join a studentcentered special education team supporting multiple school sites across San Mateo County. This fulltime contracted BCBA role provides coverage for a leave of absence from August through December 2025 with strong support from school leadership and the SPED team. The role is fully onsite and serves elementary and/or middle school students with mild to moderate behavioral needs.
Coach and consult with paraeducators teachers and site staff to ensure fidelity of behavior plan implementation
Monitor student data make informed adjustments to interventions and support teambased decisions
Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school psychologists administrators and service providers
Lead sitebased trainings and support professional development around behavior strategies and safety protocols
Travel between assigned campuses (all within close proximity)
What You’ll Need
Active BCBA certification (required)
Prior experience supporting students in public school settings (strongly preferred)
Ability to independently manage a behavior caseload across multiple campuses
Expertise in datadriven behavior support FBA/BIP writing and team coaching
Must live in or be able to commute daily to the San Mateo or San Francisco County area
Excellent communication followthrough and organizational skills
