The Maintenance Planning & Scheduling Supervisor ensures the reliability and resilience of industrial systems that support global manufacturing. This role is missioncritical for uptime safety and strategic execution. You will lead a highvisibility team responsible for transforming planning into performance with a direct impact on worker safety production continuity and operational efficiency.
This site is undergoing several process and capital equipment upgrades to include Smart Maintenance. Your team will play a critical role in the implementation and success of some of these programs. PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
In your first 12 24 months success will be measured by your ability to:
Drive Uptime & Readiness: Ensure all maintenance work orders are prioritized and completed efficiently using SAPPM. Reduce unplanned downtime through proactive scheduling and coordination with Engineering and Operations.
Lead with Safety: Champion York s Safety Transformation through daily presencebased leadership ensuring all maintenance activities comply with RHI Magnesita s EHS policies.
Optimize Maintenance Strategy: Implement bestinclass reliability processes including TPM 5SSafety and FMEA methodologies to elevate performance metrics and reduce recurring issues.
Elevate the Team: Lead a team of planners/schedulers delivering mentoring coaching and performance development aligned with enterprise expectations and veteran leadership models.
Oversee Outages & Projects: Own the coordination and execution of all plant shutdowns outages and turnarounds ensuring every activity is resourced scheduled and executed without compromise.
Asset & Inventory Command: Manage spare part availability and work closely with procurement to sustain uninterrupted operations. Use analytics (e.g. PowerBI/Visplore) to support forecasting and reliability.
Requirements
Must have served in the U.S. Army U.S. Navy U.S. Marine Corps U.S. Air Force U.S. Coast Guard U.S. Space Force U.S. Reserves or U.S. National Guard.
5 years of industrial maintenance experience including 2 3 years in planning/scheduling leadership.
Proficiency with SAPPM; familiarity with PowerBI or similar analytics tools is a plus.
Knowledge of maintenance methodologies (TPM RCA 5S FMEA).
