Job Description

Adelphi is seeking Learning Disabilities TeacherConsultants to provide services at school facilities within Monmouth County New Jersey. They are to perform educational assessments and serve as members of Child Study Teams. The ideal candidates will support educational planning and IEP development.

Requirements:

NJ LDT/C Certification
Master s degree in special education or educational psychology
Strong knowledge of standardized assessments and instructional strategies

Responsibilities:

Conduct educational evaluations to assess students academic strengths and weaknesses.
Write comprehensive evaluation reports with databased recommendations.
Collaborate with psychologists and social workers on CST.
Develop IEP goals and services aligned with assessment results.
Attend and contribute to IEP and eligibility meetings.
Consult with teachers to support instructional strategies and accommodations.
Monitor progress of students receiving special education services.
Assist with development of Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs).
Maintain compliance with IDEA and NJDOE regulations.
Any other duties as assigned.
