We build industryled studentcentered modern youth apprenticeships through classroom and onthejob learning providing flexible alternative pathways to economic mobility. We have hundreds of CareerWise apprentices in the workplace charting new paths to academic and career success. In addition workforce and education leaders from across the country have visited CareerWise to learn about our youth apprenticeship model. As a result our programs have launched in multiple states leveraging our institutional knowledge technology and infrastructure.


Who Were Looking For:

Were seeking a relationship focused Account Executive to lead the expansion of our youth apprenticeship program throughout the Denver metropolitan area. As the key driver of business partnerships youll identify untapped opportunities nurture existing relationships including at the Csuite & senior leadership levels and create meaningful pathways for young talent. You bring a proven track record of developing and managing strategic business partnerships along with exceptional relationshipbuilding skills and advanced proficiency in Salesforce to optimize the partnership lifecycle. Job Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Business Development & Engagement theSenior Manager of Business Partnerships (BP)will identify and establish strategic partnerships with prospective businesses and industry collaborators that drive business growth.


What Youll Be Doing:

  • BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CHAMPION:

      • Enthusiastically engages with Business Partners and articulates the benefits of apprenticeship

      • Closely walks with BPs through implementation and onboarding steps

      • Builds trust quickly with BPs; finds ways to connect with other departments and/or teams within BPs to help increase CW presence and partnership

  • RESOURCEFULNESS:

      • Able to scope markets for prospective BPs

      • Utilizes networking platforms (like LinkedIn) to find direct contacts in industryspecific businesses

      • Offers to be a thought partner for existing and prospective BPs on how apprenticeship can be best implemented and utilized

  • STRATEGY:

      • Travels in/around Denver and throughout Colorado to meet and inspire prospective BPs to utilize apprenticeship as part of talent strategy

      • Closely collaborates with the Director and business leaders to brainstorm new roles for apprentices

      • Builds and executes industryspecific recruiting and hiring plans

      • Modifies and facilitates appropriate supervisor skillbuilding and support

  • SALESFORCE & DATA:

      • Proactively stays organized using Salesforce with business contacts and status

      • Tracks and analyzes key performance metrics related to partnerships and develops reports to assess success of partnerships and identify areas for improvement

  • May perform other duties as assigned

    • Expert at turning prospect objections into partnership opportunities

  • EXECUTION & PERFORMANCE
    • Consistently meets or exceeds quarterly partnership quotas and revenue targets
    • Strategically balances regional market focus with ability to influence national expansion initiatives
    • Independently drives the sales process from prospecting to close with minimal supervision
    • Leverages deep understanding of the CareerWise model to identify highpotential crossselling opportunities
  • PROFESSIONAL TOOLKIT
    • Advanced relationship management through Salesforce CRM (required)
    • Superior presentation skills with ability to deliver compelling pitches to diverse business audiences
    • Exceptional EQ and active listening skills that uncover unstated client needs
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple highvalue prospects simultaneously without sacrificing quality
    • Thrives in fastpaced environments requiring rapid prioritization and decisive action

Additional proficiencies:

  • Requires high emotional intelligence and strong relationshipbuilding skills

  • Experience using Microsoft Office and Google Suite

Location:

This role is based in Denver Colorado. CareerWise staff typically work a hybrid work schedule with varying days in the office and other days remote. Remote work isnotguaranteed and the schedule must be approved by the supervisor. There may be occasions (possibly 13 times per year) for staff to gather together in person. Exceptions will be made for special circumstances.


Compensation:

The salary range for this role is: $74263 (min) $90176 (max) annually; this role is not covered by the minimum wage and overtime provisions of the FLSA. CareerWise offers a generous benefits package including group medical dental and vision plans shortterm disability 100% vested 401k Plan with a 3% employer contribution and Flexible Time Off.
