Raw Materials Inspection Specialist - Mon-Fri 12pm-8pm

Were looking for a motivated and detailoriented individual to join our team as a Raw Materials Lab Technician. In this handson role youll work in a cleanroom environment assist with testing and sampling and help ensure our highquality standards are met. Responsibilities Include: 

• Working in a cleanroom environment to carefully dispense raw materials and inspect containers
• Receiving and handling samples ensuring theyre properly disposed of when needed
• Calibrating instruments and checking their accuracy before use to ensure everything runs smoothly
• Keeping detailed records of test results and letting the team know right away if anything seems off
• Keeping the lab stocked with supplies and maintaining a clean organized workspace
• Providing excellent service to our clients with a friendly professional attitude
• Participating in ongoing training to keep your skills sharp and stay up to date on best practices
• Following all regulatory guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant lab environment
• Taking part in crosstraining opportunities including testing compressed gas systems and tankers

This position is an indoor labbased position working in biopharmaceutical manufacturing cleanrooms and lab spaces. Position requires significant time spent in ISO 8 cleanrooms with the following restrictions:

• No cosmetic products or applications (such as makeup false lashes spray tans tinted moisturizer etc) are permitted and must be removed before entry
• Nails must be kept short trimmed and unadorned (no nail polish rhinestones etc)
• No jewelry may be worn (exceptions are medical alertrelated and one smooth ring band that can be easily covered by a glove)
• Hair must be able to be neatly tied back and contained in a hairnet and all facial hair must be neatly trimmed and able to be secured in a beard cover.

Qualifications :

What Youll Need:

• A bachelors degree in chemistry or a related science field or equivalent handson experience
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship

Additional Details: 

The work schedule will be full time second shift Monday through Friday 12:00 pm8:30 pm with overtime as needed. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer New York are encouraged to apply.
