Job Description
- Conduct laboratoryscale cell culture studies (shake flask through fedbatch bioreactor and harvest) to support characterization of cell banks and/or manufacturing bioprocesses
- Perform affinity chromatography and viral inactivation in support of labscale cell culture activities
- Perform cGLP cell banking activities for research use
- Coordinate with a broader scientific team to align on scheduling of lab activities
- Statistically analyze large data sets and draft technical reports to support commercial filings
- Present on technical topics during cross functional meetings.
- Provide technical support to Manufacturing during troubleshooting and continuous improvement opportunities
- Enjoy working in a fastpaced environment and you have the innate ability to balance multiple projects prioritize them and execute them independently while excelling at keeping all impacted parties well advised
- Can take on new and sometimes ambiguous challenges learning quickly
- Work in a team environment but can also take ownership of large technical reports and projects
- Develop and drive scientific and/or businessrelated improvement ideas
- Understand antibody manufacturing processes
- Utilization of Microsoft Suite (Word Excel Powerpoint)
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in life sciences required Chemistry or Biochemistry majors preferred.
- Strong cell culture experience and competence required.
- Must have the availability to begin working full time as soon as possible.
Additional Information :
This position is WednesdaySaturday 6:00 AM 4:30 PM.
Training will take place on a MondayFriday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM schedule.
Pay: $21.50/hour
