Summary:

Provides clinical assessment and intervention for speech and swallowing disorders; performs administrative duties within the department; participates in educational activities; participates in clinical research; creates a plan of care for each patient upon completion of evaluation; establishes discharge plans for speech and swallowing.

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience

License and Certification Requirement
1. License to practice as a speechlanguage pathologist in the State of New York.
2. Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American SpeechLanguageHearing Association.

Education and Experience
Masters degree in SpeechLanguage Pathology Communicative Sciences & Disorders or related field.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
