Finance Manager, Fire TV

Amazon seeks a Finance Manager to be a key member in our Fire TV Finance team. Over the past decade Amazon has developed a number of marketleading innovative and fastgrowing digital and mobile businesses including Kindle Kindle Fire Tablets Fire TV and Echo. This is an exciting opportunity to support Amazon Fire TV the bestselling streaming media player in the U.S. and one of the fastest growing Amazon device businesses and the newly launched Fire TV 4Series and Omni smart TVs. This is an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial minded candidate who wants to join one of the most innovative businesses at Amazon. Devices industry experience is preferred but not required.

As a Finance Manager you will work directly with business leaders to identify opportunities and develop business cases for Fire TV. The successful candidate will have shown experience in past roles influencing business owners and supporting decision making in rapidly evolving environments. This role requires a self starter with strong business partnership a keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects effectively. This role also has regular interaction with executives and various business units across Amazon.

Key job responsibilities
Own the P&L and diagnose variances from plan
Partner with Product Management and Engineering teams to understand and influence the financials of all new and existing devices within the portfolio
Partner with horizontal Finance teams to drive free cash flow initiatives and forecasts
Drive finance communication with the business teams on product performance financial impact and risks & opportunities.

Bachelors degree in finance accounting or related field
5 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
5 years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decisionmaking experience

6 years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
6 years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models analysis and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g. financial savings operational improvements or customer benefits) experience
MBA or CPA
Knowledge of SQL/ETL
Experience working with largescale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)
Experience delivering forecasting budgeting and variance analysis and data interpretation of results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
