Job Description

The Backend Manufacturing Operations manager will ensure all operational activities related to SSD manufacturing are executed smoothly to meet product schedules/requirements with best in class quality.

Ensures all operational activities related to SSD manufacturing are executed smoothly to meet product schedules and requirements with best in class quality. Partners with Engineering Planning Quality and other key stakeholders to plan and deliver revenue production commits. Drives continuous improvement in delivering operational advantages in manufacturing procedures through clear processes and indicators. Manages our manufacturing factories capabilities and capacities to support production volume. Responsible for compliance with business processes. Stakeholder management critical thinking and communication skills are critical to be successful in this role along with the ability to coordinate with our Asia team members.

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate overall manufacturing capabilities and support for high volume production across multiple outsourced factories deliver to production revenue commits
  • Lead factory capacity capability and resource readiness to support weekly production build plan
  • Own daily/weekly operational alignment with ODMs/subcons to deliver to Key Performance Indicators; drive consensus and alignment with ODM management as well as internal stakeholders
  • Partner with stakeholders to drive manufacturing operational quality and efficiency initiatives; program manage initiatives to ensure integration into ODMs/subcons without disruption to revenue production
  • Ensure process compliance and serve as primary point of escalation for manufacturing operations

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Operations Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor or SSD industry preferably in manufacturing.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome operational and supply chain challenges.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in module/ODM manufacturing in multigeo environment or manufacturing operational management of large scale external ODMs.
  • Experience in scaling high volume/flexible outsourced manufacturing.
  • Operational Excellence and/or Supply Chain Management certification ie Apics.


Additional Information :

For California Colorado New York Washington and remote roles: The compensation range for this role is $112760 $169240. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills experience qualifications and geographic location.
