The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is looking for an Experienced Quality Engineer to join our Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) team in Berkeley MO.
The Quality Engineer for this position will be supporting the Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) department at the St. Louis primary responsibility will be ensuring compliance of lab testing processes and role requires conducting thorough evaluations to assess compliance with industry standards and internal quality the Quality Engineer will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to lead root cause corrective action investigations identify and implement improvements while maintaining documentation and providing clear communication.
Position Responsibilities:
Research contractual requirements Industry Standards regulations and Boeing Quality Management System requirements for applicability to specific proposals and program processes and documentation
Develops sections of quality metrics design and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual Company and regulatory requirements
Analyzes capability assessments to support supplier selection activities
Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs
Perform data analysis to ensure manufacturing and test readiness
Provides material review dispositions for nonconformances
Analyzes nonconformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions
Compiles performance reports and other statistical data to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved
Lead and participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes to resolve quality issues
Works under general supervision
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology) chemistry physics mathematics data science or computer science
3 years of experience in Quality Management System (QMS)
3 years of experience with Quality Engineering or Test Engineering
Experience in root cause analysis and corrective action
Experience with quality management system related applications statistical analysis tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint)
Understanding of relevant industry standards and regulations such as ISO AS9100 (for aerospace) or other applicable quality standards
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3 years of experience in statistical data analysis with statistical software
Experience using and following detailed work instructions reading and interpreting blueprints drawings or specifications
Experience working with AS9100 and/or similar QMS standard
Experience applying audit standards procedures and techniques
Experience with process specification development
