Job Description
Were looking for experienced professional CDL A drivers that will share our commitment to our people partners and planet.
- Following all safety protocols you will maneuver semitrailers and containers around the facility to ensure there is no traffic back up in the yard.
- Yard Jockeys are comfortable operating switchers to dock or reposition containers and other large items and may use other warehouse equipment to help transport waste.
Qualifications :
Basic Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Class A Commercial Drivers License
- Must be at least 21 years of age
Preferred Requirement:
- Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (candidates will be expected to obtain as a condition of employment after hire).
- Experience as a yard jockey or hostler and the ability to operate powered equipment such as a forklift.
- As you will interact with customers and internal staff fluency in English (verbal and written) will be important.
The successful candidate will be required to pass a DOT physical drug test and DEA background check.
