SQA Engineer

Jitterbit is seeking a SQA Engineer to join our Platform team. Jitterbit is an iPaaS (Integration as a Service) and API Management platform which has been recognized in Gartner MQ for seven straight years. Our customers utilize our Lowcode iPaaS APIM LCAP and B2B platform to address missioncritical business automation challenges. What is our challenge To make it easy to automate our customers systems. In order to do this we need to build and create a SaaS offering that is reliable stable and scalable for our customers. As an SQA Engineer on our team you will collaborate with other engineers product management and operations to build test and release our products.

ABOUT THE JOB 

You will be using your expertise in enterprise product integrations to validate frontend backend and endpoint functionalities across our product components. You will define best practices and be the domain expert in Jitterbit product testing. Moreover you will also establish and maintain test environments and assets across all supported configurations and endpoints. Last but not the least you will be working with Product Management and Development teams to review requirements and design as well as providing feedback to identify bugs and potential improvements. 

Our tech stack includes but is not limited to Java C Angular TypeScript CSS3 Nginx Tomcat Apache HTTP server Windows and Linux OSs Jenkins Docker/Kubernetes Kafka Elasticsearch Datadog and 50 supported endpoints such as DBs CRM/ERPs marketing/ecommerce systems HTTP/SOAP/OData  protocols messaging queues etc. to name a few. Qualifications :

The ideal candidate for this role is as follows: 

You have solid experience in designing and executing complex test cases for frontend and/or backend components based on requirements from product management and engineering teams. 

You have solid experience establishing and maintaining test environments/test beds for your release cycles 

You are prolific in creating and triaging bugs as well as establishing test metrics/reports 

You have experience using Scrum and a demonstrated ability to contribute as a quality engineer in an agile development environment 

You have working knowledge and/or experience testing iPaaS/SaaSbased products or other cloud technologies in either Windows Linux and/or Kubernetes/Docker configurations. 

You have demonstrated the ability to utilize web APIs and technologies using SOAP REST JSON/XML to interface with relational databases CRM/ERP systems etc. 

You have experience using a variety of toolsets utilities and scripts during test execution (e.g. Fiddler Postman SoapUI Datadog or other APMs etc.) 

You are comfortable reading and understanding vendor API documentation 

You are proactive in participating and communicating with others to design and develop product features 

You will assist in identifying the gap between manual and automated test cases as well as assist in running established automated test sets 

You are experienced working remotely with widely distributed teams 

You can have flexible work hours when needed for calls and meetings 

Experience with test automation in Python Testscript or similar languages is a plus.
