Job Description

The NFL is currently seeking an Associate to join our Player Social Marketing team. This individual will be responsible for supporting Player Social strategy efforts including content distribution on game days identifying and coordinating social opportunities for players and serving as a liaison for players their reps and internal teams. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of and passion for the National Football League its member Clubs and Players and social media. The daytoday responsibilities of this position will require collaboration creative and analytical skills along with the ability to operate efficiently in a fastpaced nonstop environment.

This is a long term contract position with the NFL.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and distribute relevant and engaging photo and video content to players with a heavy focus around game day working Sundays Monday Night Football and Thursday Night Football inoffice
  • Help service NFL agents and player marketing reps to support any and all social media requests and maximize opportunity for League partnership
  • Support team ideating content opportunities for players around internal initiatives and marketing priorities including Flag Cause Initiatives (MCMC Salute to Service etc) and more.
  • Help manage communication between the Player Social team and the NFL Social Media Programming and LCC teams
  • Work with a team of digital content creators to help produce original social and digital content to be distributed to players and across the NFL ecosystem
  • Help create content calendars and recommend best practices for players around the League
  • Support both in a remote and inperson capacity with player activations at tentpole events (Combine Draft Pro Bowl Games Super Bowl).

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Strong knowledge of the current landscape of the NFL and its players
  • Basic knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop After Effects and Lightroom

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Optimal to have preexisting relationships with key NFL players and / or representatives
  • 12 years experience in social media preferably within the in sports or entertainment industry
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms including but not limited to Twitter Facebook Instagram Snapchat YouTube and TikTok

  • Willingness to work nontraditional hours including nights select holidays and weekends

Travel:

Limited. Estimated 10% of the year during peak tentpole season.

Terms /Expected Hours of Work:

NFL employees are required to work 40 hours five days per week in our NFL office with occasional overtime and weekend requirements.

Salary

$30 $36 USD

This role requires onsite presence at an NFL office or stadium location and remote and/or hybrid working options are not offered.
