Job Description
Job Title: Electrical Substation Journeyman/Foreman
Department: Operations
Reports to: Project Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Journeyman with a certification or equivalent experience to provide the skills necessary to perform the work of a Journeyman Substation Technician. This position will perform removal installation and maintenance in various substations projects around the Dayton Ohio area. Prospective candidates must be willing to travel throughout Ohio and Indiana for other projects as needed.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Must have the ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
- Be able to use all tools of the trade
- Above and below grade conduit installation
- Control cable wiring and terminations
- Concrete forming and finishing
- Erection of steel structures
- Experience with the installation of the following High Voltage equipment
- Circuit Breakers
- Transformers
- Switchgear
- PTs & CCVTs

- Drivers License & reliable transportation Class A CDL is a plus
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA guidelines
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
